Ragi Cookies

Ragi Cookies are made millets flour and easily available ingredients from our kitchen.
Ragi or millet is one such Super Grain that has recently made a comeback. Ragi is a whole grain that is gluten-free. It is rich in fiber that helps with weight loss and is packed with Calcium, Good Carbs, Amino Acids, and Vitamin D.
This Cookies made with Ragi are Healthy A Soft and Tasty.
INGREDIENTS
- 250 gm Ragi Flour
- 175 gm Sugar powdered/ Gur Powder
- 140 gm Mawa Grated / Milk Powder
- 30 gm Dried Dates ( Khareek) powdered
- 45 gm Almonds powdered
- 2.5 gm Cardamom powder
- 40 gm Ghee
- 2.5 gm Biscuit Ammonia
- 7 gm Ginger powder
- 1/4 Tbsp Salt
- 1 Egg
- Milk as required to make a dough
- Sesame Seeds for sprinkling on top
METHOD
- Grind Sugar .
- Mix all ingredients except milk properly.
- Make a dough by adding little milk at a time.
- Don’t make it too soft.
- Keep for 2 hours.
- With Dough make small balls and flatten between the palm.
- Sprinkle Sesame Seeds on it
- Put butter paper on baking tray arrange cookies.
- Bake in preheated oven for 20 mins at 180-degree centigrade, till properly baked.
Note: Temp required in different ovens are different, please bake according to temperature required in your oven.
