Methi (fenugreek) Laddu

Methi (fenugreek) Laddu is a traditional recipe that can be used as an ayurvedic treatment, especially during the winters. Fenugreek seeds are a rich reservoir of medicinal properties that imparts many health benefits.
Methi (fenugreek) Laddu is made with wheat flour methi seeds and powdered dry fruits jaggery and pure ghee. It is very healthy and full of nutrition. Wheat flour is roasted on a slow flame. jaggery and ghee are heated till jaggery melts. All ingredients are mixed and shaped into laddus.
Have this healthy nutritious laddu preferably in the morning.

Ingredients:
- Wheat Flour 250gm
- Fenugreek Seeds (Methi seeds) 45gm
- Dried Dates Powdered (khareek) 180gm
- Dried Coconut Powdered (khopra) 180gm
- Almond Powdered (badam)50gm
- Jaggery (gur) 250gm
- Edible Gum (Gund)85gm
- Cardamom powder (elaichi) ½ Tablespoon
- Pure Ghee 250gm
- Milk 90ml
- Dry Ginger Powder (soonth)2 Tablespoon
- Nutmeg Powdered (jaiphal) ⅛ part
Instructions:
- Soak fenugreek seeds overnight in hot milk and grind.
- Fry edible gum in pure ghee, cool and grind it.
- Roast wheat flour on slow flame till light brown.
- Heat ghee and add jaggery cook on slow flame till jaggery melts. Let it cool.
- Mix all ingredients properly in a big vessel or plate till all ingredients are mixed properly.
- Cover and keep it for 30 minutes.
- Take little amounts of mixture, compact with your palm and shape it into small laddu similar to lemo size. Prepare laddu keep in open for 4-5 hrs.
- Store them in airtight container. Have one laddu every morning or evening.
Note:
You can add pistachio or any of your favorite healthy dry fruit to the laddu.
