How to make homemade garam masala powder? Is it possible to make garam masala powder at home? Mutton Cutlets

Preparation Time: 10 minutes
Cooking Time: 5 minutes
Total Time: 15 minutes
Makes: 80 gm
Ingredients
- 50 gm Black Cumin Seeds or Caraway Seeds ( shahjeera)
- 30 piece Cloves (laung /lavang)
- 5 pieceĀ Cinnamon stick 3 inch piece each (dalchini )
- 30 piece Cardamoms (elaichi)
- 5 piece Star aniseĀ (chakri phool)
Method
- Combine all ingredients in a broad pan
- and dry roast on a low flame for 4 to 5 minutes till the aroma of spices come while stirring continuously.
- Do not change the colour.
- Let it cool.
- Grind in a mixer to a smooth fine powder.
- Store in an air-tight container.
- Stays good for 6 months.
