The Perfect Recipe For Paneer Makhani

Paneer Makhani is a super delicious paneer curry recipe in creamy tomato cashew gravy. Paneer Makhani is loved by most Indians and is popular on the restaurant menu.
This Paneer Makhani is an all-time favourite and is super quick to make, it tastes amazingly delicious and can be made in 30 minutes.
It goes well with garlic kulchas or jeera rice.
This recipe is a must-try if you are looking for some easy delicious paneer recipe.

Recipe
Ingredients
- 200 gm Paneer
- 2 tbsp oil
- 2 tbsp butter
- 1 bay leaf
- 1-inch cinnamon
- 3 cloves
- 2 cardamom
- 1-star anise
- 2 green chillies chopped
- 1 and ½ teaspoon red chilli powder
- 2 teaspoon coriander powder
- 1 tsp cumin powder
- 15 cashew nuts (add 2 to 3 tbsp water and grind to a fine paste)
- 1 and ½ cup tomato puree
- 2 tbsp honey
- ½cup cream
- ½ tsp garam masala powder (for home made garam masala recipe refer)
- ½ tsp kasoori methi (roasted and crushed)
Method
- To begin making the Paneer Makhani Recipe ,make sure you have the Home Made Paneer and Tomato Puree ready.
- Heat oil and butter in a heavy bottom pan .
- Add bay leaf, cinnamon, cloves, cardamom, star anise, ginger paste and a little water.
- Saute for 2 min.
- Now add red chilli powder, coriander powder, cumin powder, sauté well for 2 minutes .
- Once , well sauted , add ground cashew paste water and salt, mix and simmer till it starts boiling.
- Once it starts boiling add tomato puree cook for 2 to 3 minutes till it starts boiling .
- Now add in honey and fresh cream , give it a stir.
- Add garam masala powder and paneer cubes mix well.
- Let it boil , cook for 3 to 4 minutes.
- Crush kasoori methi add to the gravy stir.
- Serve hot with kulchas or jeera rice .
