What is green chutney ?

Green chutney is a flavourful condiment made with fresh coriander, fresh mint leaves and green chillies.

Tips to make green chutney

  • Always use fresh coriander and mint leaves to make flavourful green chutney.
  • The addition of 4 to 5 almonds or 1tbsp roasted peanuts or fried split Bengal  gram makes the chutney thick and binds it together and the water does not separate
  • It is up to you to add ginger garlic. I add garlic as I love the flavour of garlic and skip the ginger.
  • The ratio of mint and coriander can be changed. I usually use more coriander and a few mint leaves.
