Through their aroma and appearance, sauces enhance desserts just as savory sauces improve the tastes of meat, fish, or vegetables. Often Dessert is eaten with Sauce complimenting the dish.

3 Dessert Sauce

I ‘m sharing the most classic three dessert sauces that always add life to a plain scoop of vanilla ice cream or a moist baked pudding or cheesecake. Chocolate Sauce, Salted Caramel Sauce, Fruit Sauce, or Fruit Coulis (Koo-lee).

Chocolate Sauce

The most loved is the chocolate sauce which can be enjoyed hot or cold. You only need a few ingredients to make this Homemade Chocolate Sauce and it tastes better than any chocolate syrup you buy at the store, smooth sweet and chocolatey and rich in flavor. This Chocolate Sauce recipe is simple with no fancy ingredients just sugar cocoa powder water and a pinch of salt.

Salted Caramel Sauce

Salted Caramel is one of the yummiest toppings which can be added on ice cream, sundae, or biscuit. Our taste bud enjoys this taste something sweet and salty at the same time. Caramel sauce can be prepared by caramelizing the sugar and adding cream and butter to thin it to a sauce-like consistency. If you don’t want to go down the road of caramelizing sugar just skip the white sugar and use brown sugar, which allows you to omit the
 caramelizing process.

Fruit Sauce

Fruit Sauce or Fruit Coulis (Koo-lee) A smooth sauce that”s made from fruit puree with the sugar and lemon juice. The consistency should not be too runny but should hold on the plate without being too thin or too thick. You can drizzle over ur ice cream cheesecake or yogurt or anything u want to give it flavor and color.
